Marketing engineering and AI enablement

I test & write about the intersection of AI and growth.

Building automation agents, developing strategy, and figuring out where AI genuinely helps a marketing team - and where it quietly makes things worse. Written for teams that are past the pilot stage and now have to keep what they built running.

What I do

Twenty-five years in marketing and digital development - with a recent focus on AI and its impact on growth.

A few years back I stopped waiting for vendors to ship what I needed and started building tools and agents myself: an orchestration layer, local models on a custom AI box, and ten+ scheduled agents that run unattended. Running these projects in production teaches you which pieces break, how often, and what it costs to keep them alive.

Where I can help

Strategic AI implementation

  • Where AI fits in a marketing operation, and where it doesn't
  • Building the system instead of recommending one
  • Competitive and decision intelligence
  • Getting found in AI search
  • Fractional AI leadership

Just Because You Can Vibe Code Doesn't Mean You Should Three things I built with AI. The market ate all three. What that taught me about what's defensible.
Use case

Tell me what you'd want AI to handle.

If there's a piece of your growth operation you wish ran itself, describe it and I'll tell you what I'd do about it. Sometimes that's something worth building. Often it's a tool that already exists for $29 a month, and I'll say so.

No pitch attached.
